Product Overview

The TI-NAP181G2 is a dual-band wireless access point that complies with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax standards. It delivers wireless speeds up to 1200 Mbps on the 5.8 GHz band

and up to 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Designed for commercial and industrial use, it supports both web-based and app-based configuration tools.

The unit supports standard 48V PoE (IEEE 802.3at) and 12V DC power input for flexible deployment. It features one gigabit uplink (PoE IN) and one gigabit LAN port.

Previous versions included a passive PoE OUT function, which has been disabled in future production models for consistency and ease of use.

Product Variants

There are two hardware variants of the TI-NAP181G2 currently in the field. Both share the same model and version labeling, but differ in port function as described below:

Some units labeled TI-NAP181G2 include a secondary LAN port with optional passive PoE OUT capability (labeled “LAN / PoE OUT”).

This port can supply up to 10W of power, suitable for low-power devices such as basic IP intercoms or sensors.

To ensure reliable operation, it is important to connect only devices that require 10W or less. Using higher-powered devices

(such as access points or cameras with infrared) may result in reduced performance or unexpected shutdown.

Newer production units have the PoE OUT feature disabled by design to simplify installation and ensure consistent compatibility across deployments.

Both versions remain safe and compliant when used as directed.
